GOLD COAST HORSE RECOMMENDS YOU DON’T TRAIL RIDE ALONE. THINK OF JOINING ONE OF THE MANY TRAIL RIDING CLUBS IN THE REGION AND RIDE IN COMPANY. IT IS MUCH SAFER AND MUCH MORE FUN.

THE AUSTRALIAN TRAIL HORSE RIDERS ASSOCIATION
MOUNT JOYCE RECREATION PARK
NOW OPEN!!
Recreational facilities including:
•Approximately 40 kilometres of multi-use trails for walking, horse and mountain bike riding and canoeing
•Over 10 kilometres of dedicated mountain biking
•Camping and picnic facilities established to promote tourism
The riding is fantastic covering all types of topography and vegetation from open fields and waterways to hills and
bush trails with very picturesque views.
You’ll be able to take your horse on a wonderful camping holiday or even just go for the day.
The park is ear marked to be open early next year.
Gold Coast Horse highly recommends it. It will be a great addition to the trail riding in our region.

The Mudgeeraba & Hinterland Horse Trail Club is now 20 years old. We currently have 64 members and we ride every third Sunday of the month, with our last ride for 2010 in November. We kick off again in February – the date for the first ride in 2011 is yet to be determined.
We have riders of all ages, size and shape! You are required to have your own horse – we do not hire out horses.
Our rides vary in length and grades – we start off the year with shorter easier rides and progress to longer more difficult rides as both horses and riders get fitter. We also hold weekend camps throughout the year.
Our membership fee is currently $65 for adults and $150 for families. We allow prospective members to have two “casual rides” with us (which will cost $20 per person per ride), and should they want to ride with us more than that we would expect them to become members.
If anyone has a query please contact Jill Batty (President) on 0437 237 969.
